SOCIAL DISTANCING-THE NEW NORMAL
Duke Officials Monitoring Coronavirus Outbreak | Duke Today
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus.
Most people who fall sick with COVID-19 will experience mild to moderate symptoms and recover without special treatment.

HOW IT SPREADS
The virus that causes COVID-19 is mainly transmitted through droplets generated when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or exhales. These droplets are too heavy to hang in the air, and quickly fall on floors or surfaces.
You can be infected by breathing in the virus if you are within close proximity of someone who has COVID-19, or by touching a contaminated surface and then your eyes, nose or mouth.

Here's what social distancing entails - Orders from the centre ...

Social distancing is very important in a pandemic like this. It is the only thing that could keep ourselves safe. It seems very difficult to stay away from your friends and neighbours and it is, but it starts to get normal everyday. Day by day it starts to feel normal to us even though some people weren’t listening to our prime minister’s orders. It has also changed many things around us. To keep up social distancing, people prefer staying indoors which has improved the environment in a lot of ways. The pollution has come down to a great extent and the ozone layer has started to improve. Social distancing has helped families get closer and found was for friends to connect. For some people it might be a disaster because staying in lockdown for so many months could also damage your mental health. The old games like ludo and monopoly have come back to life once again. To think about it, social distancing has had a great impact in our lives and tis time is something we will remember all our lives.
